Dash Hennessy is the hottest bachelor in the country, looking for love in front of an audience of millions… He just wasn’t supposed to pick ME!

I just landed my dream summer gig: working as a production assistant on TV’s smash-hit reality show, Ever After. Two months of sun and fun at the beach? Sign me up! Until the moment I come face to face with this season’s bachelor, racing’s bad boy Dash - aka, the mysterious hottie I just hooked up with at a creepy motel off the I-80.

Can you say, awkward?

Dash is sexy, charming - and totally off-limits. But the chemistry between us is way too hot to ignore. He’s playing to win, and he’s got his sights set on the prize: me!

Soon, the action is heating up off-screen. But between ratings-hungry producers, back-stage drama, and twelve of the most cutthroat glamazon contestants known to womankind, I’m in way over my head. Can I find my happily-ever-after, or will it be lights, camera, heartbreak?

The Bachelor gets a rom-com twist in Katie McCoy’s hilarious, sexy new read!

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

When Paige lands a job on tv's hottest dating show, she never expects to make out with the suitor before the show even starts. But that's what happens. Of course she doesn't know that Dash is the suitor. He's just that annoying guy she met on a plane and ended up on a roadtrip with. You know, that old story. Once Paige realizes who Dash is, she tries to put her feelings on the back burner, but the man is just too darn charming!

And the feeling is mutual for Dash. He's doing the reality show for a reason and it's not what most people think. Dash walked away from his racing career without a second thought and now he has his own reasons for being on Ever After. The timing of meeting Paige is definitely not ideal, but Dash is determined to make it work.

I loved these two. Their initial meeting was full of snark and I knew they there were going to be a great couple. When they were together they had fun. Paige had no idea who Dash was and when she found out, she didn't care. Dash was used to people wanting something from him, while Paige just wanted him. Their days may have been filled with a lot of "reality", but nothing about it was was real. But when Dash and Paige managed to sneak away and get some time together, it was sweet and the realest thing either of them had ever felt.

Now it's confession time for me: I do not enjoy reality dating shows. They make me uncomfortable and I can only get through a few minutes before I have to change the channel. But books about reality dating shows? LOVE 'EM! And Katie has given us a great behind the scenes story with a side of sweet and sexy romance.
