I have sixty days to make this maverick billionaire fall in love… with somebody else!

Jack Callahan has the hottest smile in tech. And as for his ass…ets - well, there’s a reason he’s the biggest playboy in town. But thanks to douche-bro investors and my snake of a college nemesis (don’t ask), he’s also my last shot to take my new dating app from kick-ass idea to world-conquering, million-dollar reality.

There’s just one problem: he doesn’t believe you can make a program for love.

With my future on the line, I set him a challenge: if I can use the app to find his soulmate, he’ll invest in my company. Simple, right?

Wrong.

It turns out, Jack’s cocky attitude pushes my buttons - in all the sexiest, most infuriating ways. My research tells me he’s the absolute worst guy in the world for me… so why can’t I keep my hands off him?

And with my deadline approaching fast, how will I choose between my big break - or a broken heart?

Find out in the latest laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from Lila Monroe!

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

McKenna Delaney needs funding for her matchmaking app. She's worked on it for a long time and the time has come to put it out in the world. She just needs to get the money. Jack Callahan is known for investing in start up companies. And when he invests, the company succeeds. After he rejects her proposal, which she goes to great lengths to pitch and I couldn't help but lover her from that moment on, McKenna throws her Hail Mary and the two make a deal. She will find Jack his perfect match and when she does, he will give her the funding she needs.

Sounds easy enough, right? But Jack is a difficult man and finding that perfect match is not as easy as McKenna originally thought. He's way too picky and has convinced himself that the app won't work, so of course it is going to make McKenna's job hard. Before they know it, the two of them are spending time together and things that shouldn't happen, start to happen. You know...feelings and stuff.

I just love Lila's stories. They are always so much fun and lighthearted. There is always a bit of drama, but nothing too crazy. With this book I found myself drawn to both McKenna and Jack (I'm a sucker for a sexy Brit!) and I was rooting for them from the moment they met. There was even a part of the book when something happened and I had this emotional reaction that I was not expecting. I even let out an "OH HELL NO!" (Thankfully I was not in public when that happened!) Talk about being invested in a couple. I honestly can't remember the last time that happened.

So do yourself a favor and go 1-click this book. You won't be disappointed!
